I just got back into Puzzle Pirates. I'm not going to see the light of day for a few months. I thought I was free, but it always sucks me back in... ;_;
Anyways, any other Y!PP players here? I'm a Senior Officer of The Blue Peril's (under the flag Monsoon Poon) in the Viridian ocean. It's only got 14 active members and I don't have a badge, so I think I'll join another crew. Even though I'm poor and have only run a single pillage, I still might be able to obtain at least an Officer position in an active crew.
I didn't really earn my senior officer position though. I left my old crew for the one my friend was in, but it turns out it sucked horribly and nobody knew how to do jack shit. One of the senior officers asked how to restock while he was on a pillage. I pointed out that he should know that if he's a senior officer, and they promoted me to fleet officer on the spot. I got promoted to senior officer later, even though I hadn't run any pillages whatsoever under that crew. I then logged off for the last time in moths, and when I came back, it had merged with a larger crew, and I still had my SO position. I had another few months of inactivity, and I just started up again a few days ago.
If anybody knows of a good, active crew I can join, send me a tell (my username is Rasto). I may not have run many pillages, but I was taught how to do it by Amykate, so I know how to do it right. I don't own a ship, and I probably never will (the delivery cost on a sloop is 200 doubloons. Since when did this game get so damned expensive?).
