Apparently teh analyst think that the 360 is going to take third place in the end as opposed to the Wii or PS3, or really the PS3 at this point since the Wii is selling due to the casual market and will probably never be taken out of first once it gets there. I strongly agree with this article because people outside the US aren't really cool with the 360. Japan loves them some not FPSs and that's really the only thing 360 has in the AAA titles category, not to mention PS3 has things like teh Dynasty Warriors and Final Fantasy among other things which they eat up. Europe on the other hand I think will also lean this way, especially countries like Germany which isn't too found of violent video games. All in all I find this article to be a fairly accurate prediction of at least a possibility for the future of this console. Discuss. |

There are a few problems:
1. In Japan, the 360 is selling about the same as the PS3.
2. In other markets, the 360 is OUTSELLING the PS3.
3. Microsoft's biggest heavy-hitter is about to be released.
In addition, even though the GameCube outsold the Xbox in Japan, the Xbox still managed to come in second. The same thing seems to be happening here. |

The Gamecube had variety, what it lacked was third party support. PS3 has a good enough amount of third party as well as variety. |

These people only hate sony because of what the press tells them lol
I don't like the PS3 because of most of the war games come out on the Playstation consoles. I only like Socom series out of ALL war games.
All the other war games SUCK.

I was saying that the GameCube's variety didn't help it remain in second place. In addition, most PS3 third-party games will also appear on the 360, so that point is moot. |

I hate the PS3 because it has all these extra features in it I don't want. WHO ****ING CARES IF MY CONSOLE HAS A DVD PLAYER? not me. that's for sure. |
