Here's our second match in the new and improved Glitz Pit! This time, it's a match between the 5th-ranked team, The Cold Blue Blade of Steel...

*gestures toward Captain Blue*

and the 4th-ranked team, who we haven't seen in the ring in awhile... Lords of War!

*gestures toward Shadowmaster and Scythelord*

Wonder who's gonna win this week? Well, there's only one way to find out... let's get ready to...

[Captain Blue]

Well Jolene, you gave me a great condition this time. *tosses vorpal sword and flamberge out of the ring* *cracks knuckles* So two on one, eh? This should be fun. But first...*looks back at wound from previous match* *gets out a bottle of painkillers and a syringe of adrenaline* *injects adrenaline and swallows painkillers* Don't worry Jolene. The adrenaline is to help me heal faster, and the painkillers will keep the wound from interfering with me. It's all legit.

[Plastic Mario]

...Ah? A fight? I just woke up, too...

*Pulls out weapons*

Make your move, first.

(Pfartgl. I gotta go for a few hours.)

[Lord Vaati]

Axem Blue sees Captain Blue.

"GO GET EM BLUE I KNOW YOU CAN!!" Cheered Axem Blue as he threw a mystic metal cap towards CB.

[Captain Blue]

CB: *catches, but doesn't put on* I'm not ready for that yet. I'm saving that hat for later. Right now...*fires icicles at shadowmaster, intentionally missing him and spelling out "CB" with them*

[Lord Vaati]

[Plastic Mario]

...Just great. Scythelord, ready?

Ready as I can get.

Shadowmaster jumps towards CB, slashing with daggers, as Scythelord assumes the form of Balthazar and begins spewing fire.

[Captain Blue]

Cpt Blue: *backflips to avoid the jump, gets nicked in the back of both legs by daggers* ¡Mierda! *rolls out of way of flames*

OOC: Said it in spanish to get past crag filter. Take THAT, Francis!

"...Dodging, now?"

Shadowmaster throws a complete flurry of burning daggers at CB, while Scythelord pulls out his scythe, ignites it and charges.

[Captain Blue]

Cpt Blue: It's about time I stopped playing around! *sidesteps to avoid daggers, nicked in the left shoulder by the last one* *jumps to avoid the charge* *grabs scythelord from behind and has him like a human shield* ...Nah. I'm too good for this! *moves slowly toward shadowmaster with scythelord, then shoves Scythelord onto him* Two birds with one stone. *dusts self off*

[Plastic Mario]

Oof!
*Stands back up*

A little shove doesn't hurt at all..

*Pulls out butterfly sword, and begins slashing*

[Captain Blue]

OOC: End of battle

And the winner is... The Cold Blue Blade of Steel! This team moves their rank up to 4!

CB had a tough condition, and went into the ring without any weapons... looks like he's just as tough without his sword as with it! Really, both parties were so skilled that neither of them won the match... but since CB held his own with no weapons, the win's going to have to go to him!

Hope next week's match is as close and exciting as this one!

Whew. This IS getting tough. Well, I guess this means I've finally made it to the top 4. I'm that much closer to the belt.

OOC: The whole shoving Scythelord onto shadowmaster idea was actually inspired by hitman: blood money. Go 47!

[Lord Vaati]

"So this is the Glitz Pit wonder where Vaati?"

Vaati appeared out of the shadows in front of Sanji.

Vaati:"So you have come to join me one of my partners was disabled in a match it will take many days for her to heal."

"So you chose to have me join your team until you other team can fight again."

Vaati:"Thats my reason at the moment."

"Ok then but remember the deal you made."

The two walked to the major league locker room.

(I've changed the team to a three member team the name will stay the same though)
