Flutter shot a glare at the bickering couple.

"You two are going compromise our post. Now shush!"

The two Paratroopas fell silent and turn their eyes to the house.

Luigi shoved the rest of his pasta forward with a small sigh, and left the small, round table at which he had sat. He began to head for his room, when suddenly he heard something through the window... voices? Conspiratorial whispers, just outside his home. Full of suspicion, Luigi cautiously opened the front door of the house and creeped forward through the threshold, glancing left and right for something there that ought not to have been.

"M-Mario...? Parakarry... is that you with the mail call? H... Hello? ... Who's there?!"

[Medikoopa]

With that, the two Paratroopas that Sergent Flutter had shushed jumped out of the shadows and grabbed at the spooked plumber.

[R. S. Buzzy]

"NOW!" He shouted, but it seemed unnecessary as the two had already acted.

[Medikoopa]

The other Paratroopas rushed out, a big bag in their claws. They ran over to Luigi and threw the cloth over his head, in an attempt to catch him in the sack.

Should they be successful, Luigi would be tightly secured in the bag while the Paratroopas flew back to Dark Land Castle.

If not, they'd just try again.

"Well? Did you get him?" He shouted from the hiding spot. He motioned for them to check the bag.

[Celeste Dimentia]

Suddenly there was a great tearing sound, as the bag split in two. Luigi had popped right out of the top like a rocket before the bag could be completely closed, taking the opportunity to shred through the bag while it had the least resistance. He soared into the air and came downward, aiming for one of the Paratroopa's heads.

"Eh... what do YOU guys want?!"

[R. S. Buzzy]

Flutter jumped from behind the bush with speed.

"YOU TWO BUMBLING FOOLS! WHAT KIND OF FAULTY BAG DID YOU GET?! Why I..." He stopped his verbal attack on the two and turned to the Green-garbed plumber,"Our lord merely request you come to his castle for a 'meeting'. All legit, I assure you. Paratroopa bag travel is reserved for only guests of your, um, 'stature'."

[Medikoopa]

The two Paratroopas looked really embarrassed by their commander's yelling at their accidental selection of such a weak material for the bag.

The slightly older one nodded. "The king will be very pleased by your presence." That wasn't that big of a lie...

[R. S. Buzzy]

"What he saying is quit true. Now, Lu-errr...Green Guy, if you'll just submit and come with us..."

[Celeste Dimentia]

"G-great stature? Me? Luigi? Well, I did save the world...

Hey, wait a minute!"

Luigi glared at them.

"How do I know I can trust you guys? That bag smelled pretty bad... and Bowser may have helped us on the last adventure, but he made it quite clear that it was all for himself. You'd have to convince me he's turned over a new leaf first! Otherwise, prepare to get slammed by my Super Jump!"

[Medikoopa]

The two Paratroopas looked at each other before speaking.

"The worst thing he's done this month was abduct the Princess." "He hasn't tried something on the scale of taking the Star Rod or something, right?" "He just abducts the Princess out of habit."

This was a half-truth. He hasn't done something as bad as taking the Star Rod, but this was because new villains have been causing trouble before he had a chance to put his plans into action.

[Celeste Dimentia]

"Hmm... but that's still bad! I know it's routine... yeah, Bowser does do that a lot. But I have my own routine, too. And that's to stop Bowser every time he captures the princess! Mario's been trusting me to help out a lot more lately," concluded Luigi proudly, looking at each of the paratroopas in turn.

"I mean, I don't want to be taken hostage, or used in some crazy evil scheme... you know?"

"What they say is most assuredly correct, Good sir. And I certainly understand what you imply. No tricks! Just good 'ol Koopa hospitality."
