Luigi fought back desperately with all of his might, but soon realized that the RP's law would not allow him to get out of this situation, and that the characters against him would not stop until he was defeated, since things needed to go their way. Slumping his shoulders in defeat, Luigi was knocked unconscious, ready to be taken away, as planned all along.

The Paratroopas looked at one another and smiled. They had finally worn the human down! As they picked him up and flew off to Dark Land, Luigi's green cap rested in the open doorway.

Later...

The Paratroopas had reached Dark Land Castle, at which point the human had awakened. They flew past the Koopatrols guarding the front gates and reached the throne room's large doors.

They landed and one of their number had gone inside to inform their king that Luigi had finally been apprehended.

The paratroopa came out, his hat on fire and his face covered in soot. Evidentially, the King of the Koopas had fireballed him for 'taking their sweet time in the capture of a weak human.'

Luigi was pushed into the room; the doors slammed shut behind him.

Flutter stayed at the house to tie up a few loose ends. He cleaned up the ash remaining from the plumber's fire arena. He locked the door. If anyone came looking they'd never know.

Back at the Castle

He flew straight to the hangar, he avoided the throne room. No doubt those two did something to anger Lord Bowser.

[Dark Koopatrol]

On the battlements, the Dark Koopatrol watched and waited for any activity that wouldn't bore him in thirty seconds, and grinned as a group a Paratroopas flew into the castle, carrying what looked like Mario's brother. Must've been thinking for too long, he thought, then whacked another unlucky Koopatrol for calling him 'Darky.'

"Still not fast enough, Kopper," the Dk. Koopatrol said, "Actually, take my post, I just saw Mario's brother without his hat, and I don't think Flutter picked it up." With that, Kopper saluted and the Dark Koopatrol jogged to the hangar.

"Sergeant Flutter!" the Dk. Koopatrol spoke, "Did you pick up Mario's brother's hat, or shall we hope that no-one notices it?"

Flutter turned to speak to the Dark Koopatrol.

"Rest assured, Guard. The hat was disposed of." He said dryly.
