Going through a list of awesome PS3 games coming this fall to prove it doesn't suck. I will list a title, then a brief description. Here we go.
Folklore: Capture creatures' souls and use them in battle. Make your own dungeons and share them online.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Nuff Said.
Eye of Judgement: Think of the holo card system from the Yugioh cartoon but real, online, not gay, and much much cooler.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: Tomb Raider like but made by the guys who brought you the Jak series and supposedly a much better game.
Haze: An FPS from the makers of Time Splitters. Once again, nuff said.
Unreal Tournament 3: The modder's dream we've all heard of at one time or another. Not technically exclusive, but it is out before the other versions.
Playstation Home: Xbox Live with dudes walkin around.
Keep in mind these are just the titles I new enough about to know they were good. There are several more I wanted to add and may later once I look into them a little more. |

Thing is, while I'm sure some of those games will turn out well, there's no real way to tell. Remember Lair and Heavenly Sword? Those were two of the PS3's most hyped games, and both flopped reviews-wise (especially Lair). Until the games come out, I'd suggest reserving judgment. |

I played a demo of Ratchet and Clank Future at GameStop, and
IT
WAS
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to see the Next Gen. Jak and Daxter 
Too bad I won't be able to buy either until the PS3 is as old as the Atari is now (it will still be overpriced)  |

It got good reviews, the ones I've seen average around about 8. It's short but it's a great game. |

My objection here is a matter of opportunity cost. To buy a PS3, I'd have to give up on a bunch of games for systems I already own, and some great ones are coming out. To buy any one of those games would mean I can't use that money to buy a much better title, like Phantom Hourglass or Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Or Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Guitar Hero III, Geometry Wars, Final Fantasy IV DS, Final Fantasy Revenant Wings, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Fire Emblem, or any of the other games I already own. With that money I could buy an X-Box 360, Halo, and Dead Rising. Those games may be good, but they're just not system sellers. |

Spend your money the way you want, I don't really care. And in all honesty Ratchet will probably be a system seller since it has a pretty good fan base and is supposed to be very good. |
