This is what I posted in off-topic. If you quote it, you'll see the color tags are entered correctly. But it doesn't register on the board. Why did this happen?

Your tags are all tripping over themselves. You cant end a tag in the middle of another tag.
This will not work correctly:
| Code: | | [color=red] [quote] blah blah [/color] [/quote] |
This will work:
| Code: | | [quote] [color=red] blah blah [/color] [/quote] |

You are using the same color end tag for both of them. You can't do that.
