What do you think? I think he's a bit power-hungry.

I'm kinda neutral... Did Francis ever approve the new RP Off topic rule? |

Sometimes it's fun to bend with character's personalities. Like my Link is a drunk and my Haruhi likes sammiches. |

Popple has kind of gone power crazy lately....I don't think he should be moderator anymore if he starts doing things without Francis's approval. If he wants to continue being a moderator, I think he should settle down and not abuse his powers as a moderator.... |

Technically, the rule doesn't apply since Francis hasn't approved it. So, I say break it and see what happens. Then take the matter to the semi-existent digibutter court! ...At least it'll provide some action around here... |

Okay guys...
What should have been done is... Popple should have first brought up the idea of this new rule with the rest of the staff, so that the rest of us could contribute our own opinions and thoughts on the matter. I think doing things democratically is probably the best way, so a majority vote would be a good way to settle it - otherwise it simply becomes a decision born from the individual irritations and concerns of one person. Moderators are supposed to help represent the community... not one single member.
If the majority of staff, including Francis, approved, we could have given it a test run, to see how it went, and have it subject to removal if it did not work well enough. We could also run a member poll on the subject.
And I guess that's all I have to say, really... >_> |
