Drifting from the sky
Like a fallen leaf
Is another dream, hope
Another belief.
Call it Autumn
Call it Fall
It means the same thing
All in all.
Call it irritablitiy
Call it unintact
But when you're upset
Can you overreact?
Two ribbons tie into one
One black and one white
One for our peace
Another for the eternal fight.
A string of anger
A stream of tears
Lost in memories
Caught in fears
The sound of glass shattering
A heart broken in two
One thing is lost
Another renewed.
Overreactions aren't wrong
You must see through another's eyes
Their thoughts and opinions
Their wandering cries.
Somewhere in the world
A tear is falling to the floor
While another's wishes
Are being swiped out the door.
An overreaction isn't an action
But an emotion misunderstood
When somebody tries so hard
But falls despite all they could do.
A little mistake
Makes the next action tainted
Soon a picture of isolation
Is beginning to be painted.
But a halcyon of hope
Is beginning to rise
A new dream is being born
In an overreacter's eyes.
A misunderstanding
Has been corrected
An apology has been given
To all those affected.
Somewhere new
A heart beats fast
An overreacter's feelings
Never last.
Overreactions
Have been accepted
Somewhere my smile
Has been ressurected.
Something I threw together with some experiences, and a little bit of inner thought. I like writing really long poems. ^^;

Ugh. The one thing I hate when it comes to writing.
I'll read anything -- even my textbook -- but POEMS!? No! Poems are pathetic, useless things that need to shrivel up and die, just like the person who writes them.
