I've been meanin to show you guys this for a while. I recorded a video of the freezing in chapter 2-2. This isnt a normal freeze glitch video it's an error in all PAL version game discs.
And yes the chompy things and Boo's got a bit annoying... (I am better than showed on the vid) It's kinda typical that we get SPM last to find out all game discs have an error on them. I can only presume that when the text for the PAL versions was coded that this small section wasn't coded correctly.

I read about that glitch, it never occured to me though.
Same here.
Nintendo in sweden told about the glitch on their official site shortly after realese, and offered to change the versions with the glitch into ones with the glitch fixed. I never had to change though, and the glitch is avoidable.
Sorry. It's just that NTSC/UC runs faster, has fewer errors, and less freezes than PAL. However, PAL tends to have more information and features than NTSC/UC.

When you say errors they're often quite fun glitches to do. There's many a fun glitch in a few games i have. (Sorry to go off-topic of SPM here but this got me going so...) Does the NTSC version of Super Mario Sunshine have the walking underwater glitch when delfino plaza is flooded? (By falling between the two little balcony's next to Noki Bay entrance) Just wondered if you guys had that. Its a cool glitch.
I tried everything to fix it, even going back to the shop and getting a new disk, until in vain I googled the error and found the simple way to pass it.
