In the Sonic joins the Brawl trailer, when they're fighting on Skyworld...look carefully at the right side. After Sonic uses his spring, you can clearly see him for a second. |

It's true. You can see a red dot jumping around for a second, then it disapears into the ground.
Jamie: So, is it busted or confirmed that Knuckles is an assist trophy?
Adam: Well, we've looked at all the evidence, and I think it's confirmed.

During his spring jump, I've slowed it down; no Knuckles. no anything but Isle Delfino ans Sonic.
Then I viewed an odd occurance during the Skyworld portion; a swirling pink blob attacking things then warping away. THat was without doubt Peach. How she did that attack however...
EDIT: On second look...
OMFG THAT IS FREAKIN KNUCKLES! IT HAS TO BE! He spins, then does his midair uppercut move, then warps off. It appeared pink to me since he's red and his gloves are pink... sorry for doubting you, you are a genius and I applaud you.

Knuckles? That would be cool. They need more than 1 character and stage to represent Sonic. Assist trophy of Knuckles is a good idea. I hope it happened.(Wonders if Shadow or Amy will make an appearance, Tails as assist, character, or cameo is almost confirmed) |

Ok, so what you're telling me is, sonic can just magically create spring jumps out of thin air, and then they turn into Knuckles and uppercut people?
EDIT: When you watch it slomo, it looks JUST LIKE KNUCKLES. But when you look at the same thing mormal-mo? Without doubt, it's a spring jump. SHUT UP, PAPER LUIGI.
