Well, what with Halloween coming up, I figured I might ask you this question: what places in games give you the creeps? What are some places that you absolutely dread going?

For me, it's Beneath the Well in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. To date, I have never explored that place fully...so damn freaky...

Back when I was younger, Jolly Roger Bay in Super Mario 64, and the one pyramid level in Sonic Adventure 2, the one played with Rouge and Knuckles, I forget what it's called. In Jolly Roger Bay, the Eel just... it just scared the shit out of me. I was afraid to even go in the water, after the time I was randomly swimming along and it just came up from right behind me and glitched my camera, as well as severely beating up Mario in the process. I never played that stage for months afterward. In that level in Sonic Adventure 2, it was the beetles in Rouge's level, and the boss that Knuckles faced. That damn thing creeped me right the *crag* out.

Both agreed. Plus the eel place in LOZ:MM, any redead area, and the other water level in SM64.

Hmmm... Definitely... Wow, this is a hard one. For me, it was probably the hospital in Resident Evil 4 when the Regenerators come to life. You never want to see a Regenerator run... UGH! I'm gonna have nightmares...

In Resident Evil 4... the labs where they animated the Regenerators. The heavy breathing of the Regenerators and just the atmosphere of the place... gives you the chills.

The Aperture Science center, while not a frightening facility still has it's eerie parts, as failure to complete tasks will be punished with a negative mark on your achievement record. Followed by death.
