im playinit again and i saw him!
he is the guy who explanes/talks during the fungitown minigame. |

That's not Geno. That's a small doll replicate.
His 'star form' left the doll at the end of SMRPG and returned to Star Haven. So, that's not him. Kind of like how the Koopa Brothers (those ninja-idiots) in Paper Mario 1 had a crappy robotic duplicate of the Koopa King himself.
