Ok, so I was looking at the PS3 site, and they have the new 40GB model info up now. So here are my options:

40GB - no backwards compatability (I dont have any PS2 games), no card reader slot, only two USB ports
80GB - all the bells and whistles
60GB - discontinued. Buy on eBay or find online somewhere. Same features as 80GB.

Note that I could upgrade the hard drive on any PS3 model.
So... if I get one, which one should I get???

I'd say you buy the 80GB one. I think you'd want to save up money to buy something better instead of getting a cheaper one which you'll like less over time.

You can always buy new games, so that doesn't matter too much.

Most of the downsides to the 40GB can be overcome:
No cardreader - use a USB card reader
Only 2 USB slots - use a USB hub
No BC - I dont have any PS2 games... no big deal.
No Motorstorm - this game can be found for real cheap if I really wanted it.
40 GB - I would probably upgrade the hard drive anyways, 80GB isnt huge either.

I'd say 40GB unless you really need the other stuff.
