I made this topic strictly for discussing items in Brawl. We can talk about items already announced, not announced yet but seen in videos, or just items you would like to see in Brawl. I'm going to start by pointing out that in this video, it is seen that the mushroom got a New Super Mario Bros. makeover, as well as the heart being re-done in a Twilight Princess style. And then there's the Smart Bomb. We can already see this differs from other explosives as it detonates in mid-air, but how do you think the other mechanics of this item will work? (Being thrown horizontally, etc.)

Many say that was Sonic's spring pad, though nothing is for sure yet. I noticed the urchin thing, but I didn't have a clue as to if it was from a specific game, or if Sakurai just made it up...

Well in most any underwater level of SMW, there were urchins.

It was one of those spiny things from Kirby, not an Urchin from Mario.

It reminded me more of the sea urchins from Link's Awakening.
