I think not. Unlike most end bosses, he was utterly destroyed. He left a shadow of his power, yes, but that doesn't mean he survived. In fact, they said it would only last long enough to destroy all worlds... and that did not happen, now did it? |

Ah ha ha... But of course, I had created World -1. Ever wonder, like some of those Shaydes, if there was a Sub-Underwhere? Well, there is. My power was so great that I created a deeper alternative to such a place... with my own rules!
Now I'm back, and setting the stage for my greatest scheme yet. It should prove most spectacular, hmmm?
... Hmm... I haven't posted like Dimentio in a long time. >_> |

So, after you beat Super Dimentio or whatever, he said he put his remaining power in the Chaos Heart. So they all go back to the weeding room, blah blah blah, then, Bleck and Tippi get re-married to get back the Pure Hearts and destroy the Chaos Heart.
Yeah, DESTROY the Chaos Heart. And Dimentio's power is in it. So he's dead. |

... There is an infinite number of Underwheres. Because when you die in the Underwhere, you go to the game after the game after the game over.
It must suck having to kill yourself unlimited times to catch up with your friends. |

If I recall, a very similar event happened in a little game called The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time...
Gandondorf, once defeated, put all his power into destroying the castle, and becoming Ganon. Once Ganon is defeated, Ganondorf is sent into the Sacred Realm, where he is to remain for all eternity. But, he breaks out because of his power.
Now, replace Ganondorf with Dimentio, Ganon with the Chaos Heart, and the Sacred Realm with the Underwhere. Bam! Dimentio is in the Underwhere, which probably won't contain him for long.

Yes, and I have proof. I searched the underwhere, right, and left. I saw no sign of dimentio. Anyone who's game is over, goes to the underwhere. I could be in the overwhere, but he kind of tried to take over the world XP |
