Yeah, I went to see the movie yesterday. It's pretty EPIC! So glad to see it in a theater again (saw it when it originally came out, I was a wee child back then). The improvement on 3-D is amazing. No longer do you have to wear those red and blue glasses, I was given plastic glasses with clear lenses, one slightly shaded. It doesn't affect the color of the movie at all, and the visuals are a million times better than "classic 3-D". Digital 3-D is the way to go.

Oh yeah, the movie was good, too, as usual.

Most 3D movies use that, unless you're watching some cheap movie that's crappy to begin with.

I couldn't notice too much 3D effects, but the movie was also touched up because of the 3D. Hell, Disney probably put it in HD like how Ratatouille was.

Mhm, the quality of the movie was far superior to most others I've seen.

I'm probably going to see this soon... Nightmare Before Christmas has always been one of my favourite movies.
I'm afraid that the theatre will be overrun by Hot Topic goth-tards though. ):

Actually, when I saw it, it wasn't. You should be safe. By the way, Hot Topic isn't ALL bad, I DID get my Zelda hoodie, Zelda shirt, and Zelda belt there.

I know, I have nothing against Hot Topic, just most of the people who shop there.

There was a group of girls wearing beanies and shirts with Jack and Sally that probably came straight from Hot Topic at the theater. Doesn't help that Hot Topic is near the food court, which is near the theater.

Well, even if I go there on occasion for Nintendo/Invader Zim stuff, I'm definitely not one of THOSE people.

Hmm. I may go and see it again; just for the 3D. It was an amazing movie, and, in my opinion, one of the best holiday films ever made.

With that little side-topic, I don't see anything wrong with the goth crowd. It's what they're interested in; just like the Sci-Fi, sports, or anime crowds have what they're interested in. Of course, there are the extremes. And every crowd has its extremes.

I saw this last year and will probably see it again this year. Disney 3D is very very good. Add that to my favorite movie and you've got a yearly event i will always attend.

Yeah. Too bad that they stopped making the DVD because they release the movie every year. A DVD could cost me up to over $100 if I want a new special edition one.
