everyone should know this.. but of course, Halo is really popular, and Mario is the most famous video game character OF ALL TIME. NOW, with that been said, my brother is such a dumbass gamer winktard. and thinks that Halo is thee most popular thing ever... which do you think is more popular? |

Mario, because he's awesome and original and he brightens my mood. But that's not the most important factor that makes him more popular. It's because he's been here much longer and the audience he is directed at is larger.
Mario is for everyone and Halo is mostly for people from 14 to 21 years. Of course, I might be wrong.. |

I doubt Galaxy will sell anywhere near as many copies. Metroid Prime 3 hasn't breached 1 million yet, last I heard.
The only game I think Nintendo has that will come close to Halo's numbers will be SSBB for this year. |

Really now? Well, Mario is a lot more popular then Metroid. A LOT. Also, Galaxy has been the most anticipated game besides Brawl. I think it'll break a million decently fast.
But yeah, once Brawl comes out, Halo will get flushed down the toilet. |
