I've heard this an awful lot! People who think that the Paper Mario series, including Super Paper Mario contain to much dialogue. That's why I want to know if you people think so, too. And if so, what could have been left out?

Myself, I did not think there was too much dialogue. Especially when you think about the fact that it might be played by people who have never played a Mario game before.

So, let's discuss!

Fourth option. I love interaction between characters. When it was all over, I wanted more.

I'm glad that at least someone can say that! Very Happy Super Paper Mario is a story that's told like a book, so it's obvious there should be a lot of dialogue.

It's funny to see that in some places people go like '' much too much dialogue! '', while here everyone thinks the dialogue is ok. I think the dialogue is great, too, so in that we share an opinion. I wonder, are there any people around here who DO think there was too much dialogue?

Because they don't care about the story. But I do and I think it was too short. MORE STORY!

I was okay with the dialogue. I mean, it tied in to the (awesome) story, which is one of the major reasons why I love the Paper Mario series.

Bowser wouldn't look funny without the dialogue, but I think there was enough.

The only thing in too much supply would be impatience on the part of some of the players. Razz There is a considerable amount of dialogue, but all of it is pure, EPIC gold, Nerrrrrrrrr.

The only time there's too much talking is when somebody is talking a lot as a joke. Mario ends up falling asleep when that happens, too.

The big amount of talking is a good thing, especially when you have Bowser as your player.

Dialogue was important in Super Paper Mario, because most of the humor was in those.

Ok, I agree that the game doesn't have that much action for an action game. In fact, there are some dialogue I enjoyed more than some gameplay-only parts.

I really had fun reading all of this. Maybe Intelligent system should think about writing a Paper Mario book? But it would still be not the same thing, though...
