What do you think will be on the next Nintendo portable console. Disscuss what you think it will look like and what extra features it might contain.

If it has backwards compatibility to the Nintendo DS it has to contain the GBA port also, because some DS games use the games in there.

I think the next portable Nintenod console will use discs. Pretty much like a PSP with better graphics and actual GAMES.

Wait, which one doesn't have actual games? The DS or the PSP?

I don't really care what Nintendo does next as long as they keep being their original and creative selves. They haven't failed with the Wii, so...

Same form factor as DS, but with widescreen and analog stick.
Built in camera.
"Always On" for updates from WiiConnect24.
Games on disc, saved to hard-drive during play.
Compatible with Gamecube games.
Can buy VC games directly, or transfer VC games to it from Wii.

I liked the Gamecube compatibility and VC ideas there.

Now those are some awesome ideas. An analog stick on a handheld would be awesome, and if it would have Wii-like capabilities like Always On it would be an instant buy, I should say. One thing, I would love VC games from the old handhelds.

I haven't followed handhelds much, I mostly got the home-consoles, until the Gameboy Player for Gamecube was released. And now I want old Gameboy games on a new handheld Razz .

So... pretty much a portable extension of the Wii with it's own games? Sounds neat to me. But it would take a lot to pack all that into one portable system.

OKay, I thought you were referring to the DS for a second, hehe. But yeah, PSP has less than 10 good games, while the DS has exponentially more.

All those ideas=WIN! But unfortunately discs=loading and easier to scratch/break and Always On means the battery might die when no one's around D:

So take out Gamecube games and Wiiconnect and it's basically a PSP.

No, dual screen and touching is still good. Except now the top screen is touchable too.

The touch honestly hasn't done much except for FPS's. I'd be happy with just one touch screen.
