[Marker Magikoopa]

OK, we seem to have pleanty of people who want to suggest status effects, so I thought a single topic for it would be a good idea. For now, we should just concentrate on what each status effect would do and how it would be cured. So let's try using this format for them.

Status Effect's Name
1. Effect #1
2. Effect #2
3. Effect #3 (continue for each effect)
Cure: T, P, I, D (for time, posts, item, and damage respectively)

So let me list a few...

Fire Flower
1. gains an item called "fireball" that can be used once per minute to do 1 damage until the status effect ends
Cure: D

Invincible
1. cannot be damaged by anything
Cure: T

Mute
1. cannot use items that require MP
2. username/text becomes striked through
Cure: TPI

Scarecrow
1. get a scarecrow avatar
2. unable to use items that don't require MP
Cure: TPI

Electrified
1. all harmful items used on you that don't require MP will do 5 damage to the person who uses them against you
Cure: T

Confused
1. can't choose the target for any item used (will target a random person instead)
Cure: PD

Fear
1. attacks done to you will do double damage
2. attacks from you will do half damage
Cure: P

Shelled
1. Avatar changes to that of a koopa troopa (if alive) or a drybones (if dead)
2. all attacks done to you will do half damage
3. all healing items used on you will heal half the normal amount of damage (they have to get through that shell just like the attack items do)
Cure: I

Go ahead and post your own status effect ideas.

I think that if muted your avatar should become a speech bubble with "..." inside it. But overall, great ideas!

Iiiii like it! These would be awesome, but there should be some sort of Cursya item that allows you to giive someone a certain status effect. Example: Someone uses a Reverse Cursya on someone else, and all of their posts are backwards.

Awesome. And there should be spells too. So far, only the Lens of Truth uses MP.








EDIT: Fire Flowers shouldn't be one Fireball per minute. They should be one per hour that do 10 damage or something like that. And there should be a chance of causing burn.









EDIT: Which reminds me, you don't have freeze or burn on there.

I already had that idea in the Item Submission contest (but I only though of burns, lose 5HP per post. Disappears in 2 days or 15 posts, whatever comes first)

1. Things that use MP use twice as much
2. When you use an item that takes MP, there is a 5 minute delay before the effect. If you are damaged in that time, the effect gets cancelled.
