Dialogue was important in Super Paper Mario, because most of the humor was in those.

Ok, I agree that the game doesn't have that much action for an action game. In fact, there are some dialogue I enjoyed more than some gameplay-only parts.

I really had fun reading all of this. Maybe Intelligent system should think about writing a Paper Mario book? But it would still be not the same thing, though...

Hey, yeah. Good idea. Myself, I've always wanted books containing the stories of all the Mario and Zelda games.

I was gonna send a link to some REALLY good fan fiction from after Twilight Princess but the forum's down... I'll add link when they're back up

I voted "No" then after thinking about it wished i'd voted the 4th, but oh well...
The text was really good but, maybe a bit more text would have been even better.

Ah, that's too bad, because I like fanfiction if it is well-written.

I'm glad you think about it the same way I do! Super Paper Mario could only be better with some more text.

But, the dialogue strengthens the stories. And the stories and also the originality of them are what seperates Nintendo from the other companies, and make them better.

I honestly do not think there is too much dialogue in the games. That is what makes me like the games. If there wasn't enough dialogue the story would be blah and you wouldn't like the characters that much. Dialogue helps build characters and helps the story grow and really makes it interesting. One reason why I like Mario games over other games

I don't think there was too much dialog.
Anyways, you can just press 2 repeatedly and skip them if you like.
I thought dialog was important.

I'm glad that at least someone can say that! Very Happy Super Paper Mario is a story that's told like a book, so it's obvious there should be a lot of dialogue.

I agree
