UPDATE: It releases today! Anyone getting it? Apparently Nintendo Power gave it a 7.5 
I havn't heard much about it anywhere else, so I thought I'd post some info here.
The first Battalion Wars was OK, but this one sounds like everything the first one should have been. Using the remote to direct troops should be a huge improvement, and online co-op will be awesome. Hopefully other developers will start making RTS games for the Wii!
KEY INFORMATION
Tricked into believing that the Solar Empire is developing a devastating super-weapon, Commander Pierce and Colonel Windsor of the Anglo Isles launch a pre-emptive strike on the Coral Atolls. The world is once again at war. Players drive tanks, command ships, pilot planes and direct their troops into the heart of the action in the return of the popular tactical action game for Wii.
Online Multiplayer Modes:
Assault: Instant Combat
Skirmish: Tactical depth
Co-op: Work with friends
Three Theatres of War:
Combine land, sea and air combat
Five New Naval Units:
Battleship, Frigate, Submarine, Dreadnought, Transport
Six Different Races, Five Different Environments:
With new vehicles for each side
Wii Remote:
Provides intuitive, all-action game play
Greater Tactical Depth:
Capture facility buildings to re-spawn units (HQ, Barracks, Factories, Airfield, Docks)
Use Map Screen Commanding to order from afar
Bigger and Better:
20+ single-player missions AND 15+ multiplayer missions
Increased replay value

The first one was great and now awesome multiplayer action ready for us to engulf ourselves into? I can't wait to deluge everyone in an incessant torrent of artillery. XD |

I didnt like the first one much at all, but this one has multiplayer and a bunch of online modes. |

Eh? I'm pretty sure there is online co-op.
Although, I would think it would be hard to strategize without voice chat. |
