I myself wasn't a big fan of the installment of Luigi... let's face it: his quotes were bland, and he was just a clone of Mario despite his super jump, which really was underused in the game anyway after the seventh chapter. |

I like luigi though. luigi and mario. I hate using bowser, except against O' Chunks, which works out in chapter 8. XD

Mario takes the square. Not only is he a moron who needs a butterfly to talk for him, but he's completely useless. His Flipping power is only useful where the game designs it, and as a quick way to avoid attacks. However, Peach and Barry are much more reliable in this respect. Bowser is extremely powerful, and his fire breath is awesome. Not to mention his quotes are classic. While I'm personally not proud of Luigi, I can't find something wrong with him. He even retains his awful traction from other games, which I found an admirable feature. Everyone in this game is potrayed as they classically are to the last detail...except Mario, who had so much power in previous games and has become an idiotic fool. Plus, Mario becomes useless to me as soon as his flipping seconds of fame are over. I found practical uses for Luigi, Bowser, and Peach, but Mario is useless unless the situation calls for it. |
