"...This place has changed a lot since I left..." he murmured softly to himself. His voice echoed throughout the field, but there was no one around to hear him.

? Block floated up to the place that had once been his house. It was a dilapidated wreck now, decaying due to years of disrepair. He felt somewhat depressed at the sight of it. It almost seemed to reflect what his life had become since that one fateful day that he had first used the B Block...

Another flash of light signified the arrival of J.

"You!" ? Block hissed. J smirked. "I have no idea what you're talking about, ?. It's just me, J, the &^%$/?\\|{!ite elder."

"Don't try to fool me," ? Block snarled. "I saw it all too, when Nightshade and I shared a body. You're wielding the so-called 'powers of justice.'"

J chuckled. "Yes, yes, that's true, I suppose..."

? Block growled threateningly. "Who are you, anyway? Why are you controlling J?"

J's smile grew wider. "Nothing gets past you, does it, ?? Yes, you always were the most perceptive of the &^%$/?\\|{!ites..."

"Don't avoid the question," snapped ? Block.

J's voice suddenly changed. "There's no need to get so angry with an old friend, ?..."

? Block suddenly stiffened. "...We're not friends," he said.

J snickered. "Yes, of course not...well, you clearly won't be any use to me. ...Yet. But I'll see you later...you can be sure of that..."
