Really, we're not weaker. We've got higher defense, we're immune to fire and explosions, we can get up faster after being knocked upside down, we've got higher or equal attack (depends on the game), and the HP issue is debatable. So what if a Yoshi can eat us but not a Koopa Troopa? That probably has to do with the size, or perhaps Koopa Troopa Shells secrete some kind of chemical that Yoshis can't digest properly. The Koopa Troopa itself gets digested, and only the shell can't, so the small little fact that their shells can't be digested by a Yoshi but they can is not enough for Super Mario Wiki to claim that we're weaker. |

It did only say super mario world... and also, some shells do get digested. The red ones and the blue ones, for example. The reds are converted into fireballs, and the blues are for flight. I think that's how it goes. And specially colored yoshi's can convert, too. |

True, but we're not weaker in SMW either. Like you said, some Koopa Troopas get digested, and we're immune to fireballs. |

Actually, lemme clear this up a bit:
Buzzy Beetles are related to Koopas, but are not a breed of Koopa. They only generate from the same family. But barely.
Saddly, and no offense Buzzy #38, buzzy beetles are weaker enemies in terms of other games. They aren't talking about the Paper Mario games in general. Though, once you get to a higher level in the Paper Mario games, you can...how should I say.....end their game with those attacks, inculding explosions. Sorry about that.
I do have to say, though, that what makes a Buzzy Beetle tough is its persistancy. They (you) are persistant little guys, I give you that! 
Another thing, Spiked Buzzies are stronger than regular, as are winged and winged spiked. |

Yeah, but we still have a high resistance to those attacks, while Koopas have no resistance. As for non-Paper Mario, you could say we're equal to some enemies, stronger than some, and weaker than others. We're pretty much equal to Spinies and such. And yeah, you're right, we're not to closely related to Koopas. |
