...before Galaxy is released.

I only had 8 shines before I stopped playing a long long time ago.

This game really is great though. Probably the toughest Mario game yet. Its beautiful too. If you applied bloom to the graphics, you probably would think you were seeing Galaxy. And many of the "floating blocks in space" levels remind me of the levels I have seen in Galaxy videos. When you jump off the edge in the space levels, and Mario goes into a dive, you expect him to fly off to another planet! Razz

I don't know why I put it off for so long. Highly recommended, don't skip it like I almost did because of the beach theme.

I love the scene where Shadow Mario parts the water before getting in mecha-bowser Smile

It'd be better if the game didn't have the same theme the entire game... a little diversity in the scenery would be great. Although a tropical theme is relaxing, it can get annoying after a while. Hopefully the planet system will keep that from happening in Galaxy.

Good luck with that, Francis.

I don;t really have any gaming goals myself, and "Finish Melee before Brawl comes out" won't work because I already have everything... >.<

30 Shine Gets! Still no Yoshi yet though...

"The Secret of" levels are tough! Good thing most of them have 1ups.

I loved this game. So full of secrets! It's enormously hard to find all the Blue Coins. You knew of course that you trade Blue Coins for Shine Sprites?

The fun thing about this game is that the areas have ( partly ) Italian names.

Delfino Island = Dolphin Island
Corona Mountain = Crown Mountain
Ricco Harbor = Rich Harbor
Pianta = Plant
Noki = Shell
Gelato Beach = Ice Cream Beach
Sirena Beach = Mermaid Beach

That's pretty cool. I thought that they had some kind of meaning.

Gah, I had like 20 Shines and just got frustrated of the "leap of faith gameplay". [/ZeroPunctuation]

No, reakky. Although I'll get SMG, I don't like Sunshine.

There's others too:

Pinna Island= Pinapple Island
Those Signs that say "Benvenuto!"=
"Welcome!"

Erm... those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Confused

Oh, and I love the scene with Mecha-Bowser in the Fountain, too, Francis.
