Hello parents,

Recently, you have heard of your child's current "misbehavior" on the internet. However, there are specific points about not only this site, but the internet in general that must be cited upon.

First of all, people swear on the internet, it's what they do. Generally, it's a way to make a younger child (most likely under the age of 13) to look older than they already are, or just to be plain insulting. Looking at the case of your child, it was neither of this. It was meant as a harmless joke that was disreguarded immediately by whomever it was being used on. Nothing more than a more adult version of "Why'd the chicken cross the road?", if you will.

Secondly, even though this may seem not age appropriate, or you may assume negetively for the management of this website to allow said language, I may also point out that it is used on almost every site on the internet. Neopets, Runescape, and even cartoon sites - while very appealing to kids - are also victims of this. Generally, if your child is exposed to a connection, online, on a cell phone, on a regular phone, or even in real life, there is a strong posibility that this phrase is being used.

Finally, your child is a very helpful and contributing member to the site. We enjoy her being her, and she has spread new ideas throughout the site that have made it both a more friendly and more enjoyable experience for its members. I appologise for any misconduct you think that she or this site, or the internet in general, is doing, and if there is anything that this site managament can do to better accomodate to your liking, we shall make it our top priority.

This is why I cite Cell Phones, real-life discussion, etc. Honestly, the internet will become the dominant tool on the planet until something better comes along. Taking it away is like stripping one of their individuality, personal belonging, and posibilities. It's not a pretty sight, trust me.

In short: swearing is like a disease that spreads to everyone on the planet. We all do it once or twice in our lives, whether than be on accident, in a joke, or on purpose. We have established a system that blocks out many curse words, and we can put that in effect for "WTF" if necessary. This administrative staff will go to great lengths that won't completely alter the main core of digibutter to keeps its most contributing and fun members here. I believe that you, Mona, are one of them.
