Give me an example where Flipping isn't the only solution to get past an obstacle at which point Mario is better than any of the other heroes.

Yeah, I agree with Mister I....Mario is the least useful character in SPM. He's only useful for flipping. The other characters are a lot more useful in a lot more places than just when you need to flip. Peach is really useful in a lot of boss battles, because her umbrella can protect her from all attacks, which comes in handy when bosses use unavoidable moves. Bowser's attack is 2 times more powerful than Mario's, Peach's, and Luigi's attacks, so that helps a lot when defeating strong enemies. Um...Luigi isn't all that useful either, but his super jump kinda helps sometimes. Mario doesn't have any really good features, so he's kind of boring to use...

basically yeah, thats how I feel. Mario doesn't even have dialouge, which is almost all the games amuesment. Peach's umbrella rocks, especially against Mimi. Bowser's attack times two and Luigis super jump also helped in boss battles alot.

BTW, kwobs, this is a poll for Least favorite hero. Or heroine in Peach's case.

I don't see how people can use Bowser + Carrie effectively... I keep sliding a little and running into an enemy once I got him. And then I fell off the damned Dotwood Tree.

That's when I always played as Mario.

But the only reason Mario is used most in the game is because Nintendo finds that he's the itallian sausage of the Mario Bros with more appeal and deserves to be in the spotlight much more than his brother, or those other two who are much better than he is. Anyway, Mario is only used most because most of the puzzles are specifically designed for Flipping. I have never used Mario in a boss battle (excepting when it's required to use him, of course) or a Pit of 100 Trials. Peach and Bowser took care of that. Luigi is also better than Mario at platforming and it is super easy to beat Wracktail with the green sausage. So generally, your logic is phail and my logic is backed up by evil hamsters. Face the facts: I win any way you look at it.

Mario would be my least favorite if Luigi could flip. *whacks oncoming Mario fanboys*

Everyone has two powers except for Mario. Peach has long jumps and stationary invincibility. Bowser has double damage and a semi-ranged attack. Luigi has higher jumping and his extremely damaging Super Jump. Mario can flip...that's it. Also, those abilities can be used consistantly in almost any situation where flipping isn't the only solution. Generally, I do believe that Flipping is the worst power in the game, and that you should just be quiet about it and watch the better characters do what they do best.
