Again, you are letting your bias of the character get ahead of how he works in the game. With lackluster diologue and an ability that can only be used for dodging attacks (which can also be accomplished by Peach) or solving puzzles SPECIFICALLY designed for the flipping ability, Mario is worse than the other three. Peach is defensive, Bowser is offensive, and Luigi is great for platforming. I won't say that Mario isn't great, it's just that Luigi's jumping abilities set him ahead of Mario in that respect. I respect you for liking Mario, but he's just the worst playable character...not counting Pixls, of course. |

I must agree that mario is the worst playable though. I don't think we're saying he's our least favorite character but rather our least favorite playable character. These games are all designed for mario to be the main character, (of course that's why they're all named Paper Mario) but Bowser is better for attacking, and the greatest way to beat the sammer kingdom IMO, Peach has the ability to float, and for battling, something like the super guard of TTD. Luigi has a great jump for platforming and the super powerful super jump, but maio only can flip. You can't attack enemies when flipped, you could possibly lose HP if not paying attention, and the only time it's useful is during the boss battles that are only weak from a flipped angle. |

Alright, I'm willing to make peace. I'm not trying to use favorites, however, (I seriously can't stand Princess Peach...ick) but the characters I used most in boss fight or after I finished the game, 'K?
If Mario could just say, "Mamamia, nononononononono!" then everything would be alright. Otherwise, His...or rather Tippi's...diologue is dry. |

Agreed, other than the voting part. It's my least favorite Super Paper Mario hero, and from this game my least favorite has to be that overcooked mutant itallian sausage with peech fuzz that everyone calls Mario and loves him for it.
Of course, Peach is my least favorite playable in Paper Mario, the Thousand-Year Door, Yoshi's Island DS, Super Smash Bros Melee, and any game where she's not playable. Yes, that's right. I hate Peach when she's playable in games she's not playable. But that's besides the point of Super Mario Bros 2 and Super Paper Mario, where she can actually be slightly better than every other retard captured princess in gaming. Not counting Daisy, of course, who has the magic ability to be both hot and having beat up Bowser in a single punch. |

Not true. You can beat the game without Peach if Luigi is unlocked in her place and Francis was...well, I'd rather not get into that, because I made a Fan Fiction involving the Wario Bros going through Super Paper Mario...Francis ended up throwing up while his giant robot exploded on the Dotwood Tree.
In addition, if every character could flip, you could go through the game without playing as Mario. Of course, then the title would have to be changed to "Super Paper Luigi" or "Super Paper Bowser" or "Super Paper Flavio" or something.
I feel that, of all the characters, only Bowser plays any real importance. I found myself using him every time that Mario wasn't required, or Luigi didn't have to make a jump.
Peach comes second. I hate her, but she's practically invincible.
Luigi comes third, because he's better at jumping than Mario, and Mr L is awesome.
Mario comes last because flipping, while entertaining, is very situational. That is, you only use it when you have to or are looking for a secret. Bowser or Peach is fine for defeating a boss. Luigi can kill Wracktail with no effort at all. Mario...it takes a while for any boss. Plus, Mario has little diologue.
In the end, everyone sucks in their own unique way. Mario just sucks worst. I'm not saying that he's suckish, I'm just saying that Bowser, Peach, and Luigi are better in most situations. MOST NON-FLIPPING SITUATIONS! This is using scientific evidence, not opinion.
I respect your opinion on Peach and on Mario, but my belief stands firm. Thanks for pushing me to a point.
