The Twilight Princess ending was the greatest. It had that great, yet sad feel to it, you know? Ocarina of Time was a bit less sad ( though sad indeed ), but cool too. |

yeah, TP had a sad feeling to it, yet WW had an EPIC feel to it. and since I am a big fan of WW, I loved Phantom Hourglass's ending.+ |

Majora's Mask, without a doubt. It had that bittersweet feel to it, and the scene with the Deku Butler at the end was just heart-rending. |

I myself liked all of the endings, but Majora's Mask ending was... Interesting... "So the Evil has LEFT the mask." A quote from the Happy Mask Salesman, can't help but make me wonder, if the evil just LEFT the mask, where did it go???
I found Majora's Mask to be very open ended, and just screams the word Sequel(Not counting Wind Waker, but something about Majora, and where the Spirit went). There were many unanswered questions about the mysterious evil in the mask, and yet Nintendo continues to forget about this game having such an open end, but the ending didn't explain a lot, but showed you how happy everyone in Termina was, but it still left me with many questions, and was kind of short. It is a wonderful ending, but too open ended to be my favorite.
Ocarina of Time's ending was kind of basic, but I found that Navi leaving Link was kind of sad, but other then that, didn't really stand out to me that much, so it's not my favorite either.
Phantom Hourglass's ending was in a way, kind of like Majora's Mask being open ended. To me, the ending didn't really stand out, but it was a good game, and sort of a good, but confusing ending.
Twilight Princess. The ending, was... Well unexpected, but Epic. It makes you wonder, will Midna ever make a return? There really isn't much to say about the ending, but it surprisingly ties for being my favorite.
Wind Waker: I actually played Wind Waker before Ocarina of Time, so I didn't really know Hyrule all that well, but I surprisingly played Majora's Mask before Wind Waker, so I was used to the land of Termina, and didn't feel all that sad when Hyrule sank, but now I kind of feel sad that all of previous Links' work was put to waste. The game stood out to me though because it was a new beginning, and would open up many new possibilities for Link, and new places to explore, and leaves players with the question,"but now who will oppose Link? Will Ganon somehow be revived again, will a previous villain like Majora or Vaati rise again, or will a new villain rise?" It's open ended, but will make a huge mark on future Zelda games.
That is why, Wind Waker with Twilight Princess's ending, are my favorite endings. |

Twilight Princess and tWW had the most emotional endings; therefore, I'd say they had the best. |

The whole thing with Ganondorf getting the Master Sword in his forehead was amazing, but the ending of Wind Waker seemed really rushed. There were only two temples after getting the Master Sword. |

Twilight Princess had the most surprising ending seeing midna like that. in oot when Ganondorf dies, he looks like he's going crazy. |

Wind Waker definitely has the best ending. Ganondorf is defeated with the most epic attack ever, and Hyrule meets its end. It left the story WIDE open, and of course, a sequel was released. Phantom Hourglass is in a close second place. The whole "Link and Tetra were only on the ship for 10 minutes" thing was kind of confusing, but it seemed to fit. It once again left the story wide open, with the possibility of Linebeck and other characters returning in the future. |
