Tetsu Yatogi. A man with a torn past, preparing to face a cold, uncertain future. Raised in San Francisco in the U.S.A. until the age of five, his family moved to Japan. His father was part of a syndicate, a powerful organization, called the Scion, which was clouded in mystery, but known for producing effective assassins. After Tetsu's father leaves the group, he took his family and fled to Japan for safety. In the years to follow, he would teach Tetsu everything he could about fighting and respect for his life and the life of others.

On the day of his tenth birthday, Tetsu woke up to find both of his parents brutally murdered, their bodies beaten almost beyond recognition. "Mother! Father! What happened to you!?" Tetsu cried. He then found a note. But it did not contain any words, it contained a symbol. An ominous, glowing red symbol. He felt broken. No parents, no family and wandering the streets of Japan, Tetsu tries to find the answer to who was responsible of killing his parents.

Since Tetsu was not a pure Japanese native, he was ostracized by everyone he went to for help. Cold, alone, and having a taste of revenge, he traveled through Japan, searching for anyone who might take him in. One day, a strange old man confronted him. The old man knew of Tetsu's father and offered to train him to gain revenge on those who had killed his parents. Between the old man and his other student, Travis, Tetsu felt as though he finally had some sort of family again.
The unity of Tetsu and the old man came to an end ten years later. On his twentieth Birthday, Tetsu once again awoke to find the bloody, disfigured corpse of someone he cared for. The old man, who had taken him in and cared for him like a son, was killed in the exact same way Tetsu's parents were. Exactly like the time Tetsu found his parents dead, he saw a note. With the same ominous, glowing red symbol. He then realizes that it had to be the same exact person who killed his parents. Alone again, Tetsu decides to head back to America, in hopes of finding some answer as to who, or what, killed every person he has ever cared for. Unknown to him, the enemy is much closer than he could possibly imagine.

Upon arrival to America, in San Francisco, Tetsu had felt an extremely strong matter of dark energy coming from a far distance. Throughout the day, the feeling of the dark energy got stronger as Tetsu walked the streets. Tetsu then heard a deep, echoing voice within his head. "So, you are the one? You are building up your anger, your hate, your feel for revenge. You are probably wondering where you are hearing my voice. I'll tell you, I'm not far." Tetsu rushed into a nearby alley. He then responded, "Who are you? Unveil yourself!" The voice responds back, "I am the one who killed the people you loved. I was the one who killed your parents and the old man. I want to see you suffer. I want you to build up your anger, your rage... and you will probably find me." Tetsu responded back, "Damn you! Once I find you, I will have my revenge! ...Where the hell are you!?" "Follow your senses and you will find me in no time."

Tetsu followed the source of the dark matter. Every step he took, the strength of the energy got stronger. "I must be close." Tetsu thought to himself. He kept walking toward the source. He then had such a extreme feel of the energy, he stumbled on the ground due to the very heavy feeling of the amount of energy. Tetsu then looked up and he found himself in front of a very familiar, yet abandoned building. He quickly recognizes that it was the same building he was raised in for five years. The mysterious voice came back and said, "You are on the money, my friend."

"Why here? Out of all places, it has to be in my first home." Tetsu yelled out. "It's the perfect place to end this..." the voice said. Without hesitation, Tetsu walked in the doors of the abandoned building and the doors slammed shut behind him. "This is it." Tetsu said. "Mother... father... master... I will avenge you all. I hope you are there to help me fight the man who killed you all." "Good, good. Your rage is building up! I am very, very close. Try to find me!" The voice said.

While walking through the building, Tetsu feels a weird, cold draft of air from one of the walls. The dark energy was at it's strongest point. Tetsu then punched the wall that reveiled a stairway that lead deep below the city. As Tetsu walked down the dark stairwell, he then lands on flat ground. The feeling of the energy has faded away when all the sudden, the room lights up with crimson colored candles on the walls. He looks foward and sees a group of candles form a shape of smoke that appeared to be the same exact symbol that he has seen in the notes of his dead loved ones.

"So, you have finally arrived! I have been waiting for you, Tetsu..." the voice said. "Enough of this! Reveil yourself so we can get this over with!" Tetsu shouted back. A dark sphere of energy surrounded one spot in the center of the room. Then, a human figure appeared in that exact spot. With the familiar symbol glowing on it's back. "Who are you?" Said Tetsu. The figure responded back, "My name is... Akuma. I have been sent from the depths of Hell to bring torture to those who have a strong body, a strong mind and a life of fighting." "Akuma... you are not going to get away with this! I will avenge my family and loved ones! I will send you back to where you came from! Let's fight!" Tetsu yelled. "Then it is settled. Let's finish this..." Akuma responded.

Tetsu charged to Akuma and threw a powerful punch. Akuma disappeared from the spot he was standing and appeared then behind Tetsu and punched him in the ribs. Tetsu fell to the ground for a slight moment and quickly got back up. He then threw punches and kicks at Akuma. Akuma dodged and blocked every move Tetsu threw at him. Like Akuma was reading his mind. Akuma then countered with a blow to the chest. The blow sent Tetsu flying into a wall. Tetsu struggled to get back up from the impact. Akuma taunts him, "Is that all you got?" "No. I'm only getting started." Tetsu said. Tetsu then reached to his side and charged up some energy. He then threw a ball of electric energy at Akuma. Akuma dodges the shot of energy and the blast of energy explodes into the wall behind him and smoke filled the room. Tetsu's vision was shortened. Akuma then teleported behind Tetsu but Tetsu was able to catch Akuma by tripping him. Tetsu leaped in the air and drew a very powerful blow to Akuma's chest. Tetsu leaped backwards and got into his ready position. Akuma leaps back up from his downed position and then charged after Tetsu. Tetsu charged after Akuma and then both fighters leaped in the air and then got into an aerial clash. Both fighters traded punches and kicks in midair. Tetsu then caught a split second of an opening and then dropped a multiple kick to Akuma. Akuma pummeled to the ground and landed hard on his back. Tetsu landed on the ground a second later.

"You're very strong." Akuma said as he gets back up to his feet. "Are you strong enough to end this?" Akuma rushes to Tetsu and uppercuts him to the jaw. Tetsu gets knocked back and notices his mouth was filling up with blood. Tetsu wipes some of the blood off of him and dashes at Akuma and slides toward him. Akuma trips and then Tetsu jumps up and does a Crescent Slice and then followed by a kick to the face. Akuma then lands on the ground, quickly gets up and kicks Tetsu in the chest before he could touch the ground. Tetsu then lands on the wall he was kicked to and does a wall jump. Akuma leaps up in the air and throws a kick to Tetsu. Tetsu counters and grabs Akuma by the leg and tosses him into a part of a jagged wall. Akuma falls to the ground. Tetsu then drops and lands on Akuma's back.

"Excellent..." Akuma said. "But the show must go on." A very dark matter of energy surrounded Akuma and transformed him into a much more powerful form. "Now, prepare to meet your doom!" Even faster, more powerful, and deadlier than before, Akuma attacked Tetsu. Tetsu was sent flying and realizes that his enemy has become a monster of power. He tried to attack back but ended up getting beaten at each attempt. "He's too quick!" Tetsu thought to himself. "Few more powerful blows, and I'm done for!" Akuma charged after Tetsu. Tetsu tried to counter, but failed. He was then sent into an aerial rave and then Akuma slashed a fireball through Tetsu. Tetsu was defenseless. He realized he could not beat Akuma in his powerful form. Tetsu was then thrown on the ground and struggled to get back up. He tried, but just could not get back on his feet. Akuma walked over to Tetsu's fallen body. "You are indeed strong... but it seems that your end is near. Prepare to see your loved ones again... IN HELL!" Akuma shouted. Akuma then grabbed Tetsu in what seems to be his signature move, the Shun Goku Satsu. Tetsu knew the potential of this deadly move. It could kill anyone and the victim has no way to escape. So, Tetsu prayed to his parents. "I'm sorry, mother, father and master... I... failed... you..."

But, from what seems that the Shun Goku Satsu has made full contact, a blast disrupted the attack. Tetsu was standing there, still alive. Akuma was blasted backwards into the wall. Three familiar voices came to Tetsu's mind, "Tetsu, no matter where you are, we are always here for you." "Mother?" Tetsu said. "Son, I'm here too. I'm going to help you defeat this monstrosity!" "Father!" Tetsu cried back. "Young boy, you've proven to me that you are as strong as I imagined you to be. You truely are, a warrior." "Master!" "I shall avenge you all!" Tetsu said. "And we will help." Tetsu's father responded back. "Go on, finish him off!" The Master said.

Akuma was dazed and surprised on how Tetsu survived his deadly move. Tetsu then ran up to Akuma and conected fifteen powerful punches to Akuma. Tetsu leaped back and yelled out to Akuma, "Hasta la vista... baby!" Tetsu then shot a very powerful blast of energy that literally destroyed Akuma.

Tetsu walked over to Akuma's body. He realizes that he has gotten his revenge. "Mother, Father, Master... you have been avenged." Tetsu said. "We are so proud of you Tetsu! We knew you could do it!" Said Tetsu's mother. "Thanks." Tetsu responded. Tetsu then turned around and walked out of the room and back up the stairs. But takes a last moment and looks back and sees Akuma's body disappear into a sphere of energy. "You are indeed strong." The voice said. Then, the crimson candles have put themselves out and the room was pitch black once again.

Tetsu returned to the surface holding his jaw. He walks outside the building and walks along the streets. He is then greeted, and stalked, by a mysterious woman, who calls herself "Blaque". Is she a friend or foe? And why does she seem so... familiar to Tetsu? She helps treat Tetsu's wounds while Tetsu talks about his story of vengence and survival. She then responds back, "Well, that is very interesting. I happen to be in the middle of solving something about a certain organization in this city." Tetsu thinks she knows what she is talking about. "The... Scion?" Asked Tetsu. "Yes." Blaque responded back.

"Come on, I bet we can find out where the rest of them could be!" Blaque cheered in joy. "It's not over yet!" Tetsu grined. "This is only the beginning..."
