I can't seem to find a way to be here, not flame (1), and not end up getting flamed all at the same time. When I'm NOT flaming, and I'm just giving a respectful opinion (2), people insult me (3), and when I AM flaming (4), people just flame back (3), and I'm the only one that gets warned (4).

I'll be honest about my opinion! When you first came to digibutter, I thought you were an awesome member, but my opinion changed. I thought you flamed too much, even at new members. But, you're right when you say you sometimes give your opinions, and that made me change my opinion about me. So, do what you want, leave or stay; but even though you flame other members a bit too much, I would be happy if you stayed. As I said before, the opinion's yours, but I think you contribute in a positive way to digibutter. So, have a hug! |

Identity; You really show an identity, you're not a majority follower. That's really cool. We need people with their own identity, you know.

In short you are a part of this forum. Sure, you're not always necessarily 'nice', but does that matter too much? I think you are a good member. |

The new users don't know me enough. They think I'm just a brutal asshole.
People that honestly know me know that I don't have bad intentions. I mean yeah, sometimes I'll lose my cool, but doesn't everybody? It's not like I'm a troll, or a "flamer", per-say, I simply express my opinion in whatever way I see fit.
If I'm in a bad mood that day, I'll take it out on the world. Even if I'm in a good mood, I might just be too blunt and rude about things, and I apologize... that's me, that's what I am, and I really don't want to change myself.
I do my best to be the best member I can be but... it's hard. The few people on this board that are my friends... are my friends for a reason. They can see past the "flamer" and see that I'm not some monster... they can actually have a nice, casual conversation with me without me calling them names or whatever else you guys don't like about me.
The conflict mostly arises from new members and horrible misunderstandings... then when I try to give my opinion, I may somehow imply something accidentally, or I might just end up being rude without trying, and nobody listens to my opinion and calls me a "flamer" or a "spammer", then I get pissed off and I go and flame and spam just to spite them.
Well... in conclusion to this wall of text: everyone hates me except the people who don't... and that's only a few people. I might as well leave... |

I'm going to be honest about this: I don't care how emotional you are over this. You can cry and cut yourself... not to imply that you do that sort of thing... and it wouldn't make a bit of difference, guys. There are people on this forum that HATE me, and the problem is that there are people on this forum that I just don't mix well with. I'll cause problems, they'll cause problems, and we'll all end up regretting it. |

But all the members who mean something to the forum don't hate you ( I think )! As I said, I generally see you as a friendly person. Of course, as you said yourself, everyone loses their cool every once in a while, but I know that you are an awesome member.
Seriously, not only is it very bad if you leave, you'd do some damage to the forum as well. |

I have to be honest, I had my doubts when you posted that flame topic about me in RPOT, but I don't let stuff like that keep me down for long and I forgive you. I've seen you make many good points when posting and I can see you are a good member.
In conclusion, I'm not going to flame you or force you to stay, whatever you choose is your choice, but in my opinion I think you should stay. |
