I don't know if this will mean no computer time or what.
Anyway, I've been missing meetings for some robotics club I hate. Mostly because I'm too impatient to wait in the basement of the school for 30 minutes for everyone to get there.
Also because I hate it. It's a horrible club. I am useless in it, and when I'm not completely solemn, I get in trouble. I have to NOT talk to my best friend to be in that club, and I'm constantly being threatened to be "kicked out".
It's not fun, it's boring, and most of all, I'm not even getting a grade or anything for it. It's completely an extra. I hate it. My parents want me in it because they think that being in a club makes you like high school better... and I daresay they have it completely wrong. |

Of course I can leave it. My parents are the ones that keep forcing me into it, though, so it doesn't matter. |

Hm... that is problematic.
Are there any other clubs? And so, could you convince your parents into letting you join a less stupid club?

I'm bad at sports. I'm not joining academic clubs. I hate chess. Anime just isn't my thing.

I hate drawing. Let's face it, I'm not the kind of person to like or join clubs... but my parents are forcing me into one. I'm a nerd. An antisocial little nerd. I socialize on the internet, that's about it.
If there's going to be a club for me, it's going to be the "sitting at home in front of a computer sipping a mountain dew" club, not a robotics club where we spend 3/4 of the time sitting around talking about raising money and getting sponsors... |

Or, there might be a video productions club. Or Photography. |

Don't assume that my school is that good. I mean it's not a poor school... it has computers... but photoshop? That's way too much damn money for my school to waste money on. There are no digital art CLASSES, much less CLUBS.
Nevertheless, I hate art. I'm not an artist. I'm a writer, an author... there are no clubs for that. And even if there were, I would not join them. |
