So, If I equip an item, what advantage does it give me? Also, what happens to items that you don't equip?

Currently you can only equip one item.. the Werewolf Pendant.
You can have 30 items. Or you can put as many as you want in the bank. |

Here is a quote from where it is on sale for the shovel, " If you have a shovel, you can dig up buried items. Or bury items into your posts. Oh, and you can also break it over someone's head."
As for collectibles, they're to show off. |

But I mean what makes them different from the collectibles, and how many can you show at a time? Like your Badge thingie, Goomba. Why is it an "item", not a "collectible"? |

Items can be used in the "Use" section. They can have Damaging effect, healing effects, color effects, and other things.
Collectibles have absolutely no use. They're just to collect  |

Cause it does St00f. But really. Items that have no use are collectables. Items that have an effect are called items. |
