My latest attempt at writing. Here's the basic idea: It's written in script format... meaning that, supposing you want to, you could act it out as a play or even a movie if you so choose.

The back-story (can be read by the so-called narrator):
In year 2007, humanity's one true fear... ZOMBIES... is now a reality! A horrible plague has taken over much of the world, and these ten people were stuck in a doctor's office waiting room just as this happened. For their safety, they were not allowed to leave the office, and all doors and windows were boarded up. This is the story of their stay.

I'm posting this as more of a reminder to me than to let you know I'm starting it. It's going to be a comedy, or at least, the major parts of it will. I hope to start the largest portion of my writing on saturday or sunday.

It's going to end up being more like a "TV show" kind of thing. I dunno when it will begin and when it will end. I hope for it to last a while. Maybe eventually if it gets enough attention, I can do what so many writers do and start up a small web-site to feature it on, and give that site to anyone that bothers to like my writing.

TV: *static* ... zombies... in... city... stay... inside!!
Doctor: [finishing up boarding the doors up] well that should do it!
Blonde: Do what?
Doctor: Keep us in and them out.
Blonde: Them who?
Doctor: Nevermind.
Bum: So'ze how about some foodz?
Grouch: Shut it, dirtbag. Maybe if you had a job you could pay for your OWN food.
Nature Lover: Harsh, dude.
Grouch: You too, hippy!
Gamer: Just chill out, guy. We don't need to be at eachother's throats this early in the game.
Grouch: This ain't no game, mister "I'm better than you because I can shoot fake zombies in my fake video games"
Doctor: Sir, please be quiet.
Nurse: Doctor! One of the windows is open!
Doctor: What!?
Blonde: Oh yeah, I opened one.
Nurse and Doctor: What!?
Blonde: Well, y'know, it's a bit hot in here and...
Doctor: Are you trying to get us all killed!?
Blonde: By what?
Doctor: [facepalm]
Blonde: [long pause] ... what!?
Old Lady: Stupid young thing. I'm old, I have an excuse to forget things, you don't! The TV just said, fifteen minutes ago, ZOMBIES!
Blonde: Oh cool! Is that a new show?
Old Lady: [facepalm]
Blonde: I don't like you people [frowns]
Narrator: Uh... yeah, coffee break time. So long, and until next time... this is WAITING ROOM DRAMA!
