I'm just posting to tell you guys that I'm not going to be on Digibutter for a while. A long while. There's an empty pit where my stomach should be right now. My dad just died.
He was in Illinois hunting. He was in a tree stand and shot a deer. We think he got excited and had a heart attack.. At 35 years old....
The found him hanging from his harness. He wasn't wrapped around it, so he didn't hang himself or anything. He didn't answer our phone calls in the morning and when he didn't return at night we went searching.
I still can't believe he's really dead.
Everyone is helping us pull through this, and I'm grateful. My dad died doing what he loved in the beautiful woods in Illinois. It's not like in Washington where everything is green. It's all of the beautiful fall colors and..... It was the best way to die... Anyway we got the results of the autopsy.
Turns out he had a fatty substance in his left ventricle of his heart. This made the walls soft. When he got excited this would cause his heart to literally skip a beat. This happened once before and he went to the ER. This time it was a full heart attack. It was quick, and the last thing he remebered was proabably the excitment of shooting the deer. He has a family history of heart problems, so the fatty substance was not diet, but genetics. This means there's a good chance that I have it too. My cousin had an episode this summer with his heart. So I'm sort of scared right now. We'll be getting tested and stuff soon so... yeah. See ya guys. Hope I'll see ya again. |

This is seriously the worst thing I have ever heard about anything ever. I could never imagine the pain you are going through right now. I feel so sorry for you and hope everything will be ok for you. |

Wow, I know how you feel. My grandmother passed away when I was in 5th or 6th grade. The death of a loved one hits hard, but given time, it'll pass.
