Currently, I'm doing a project on the Israeli Palestinian conflict in school. The main source that my teacher suggested to us was Pro Con.org. It's a site that has multiple branch sites on different controversial issues such as the Israeli Palestinian conflict (obviously), Nature vs. Nurture/Born Gay, ACLU, and other things.
It's a good resource to learn more about both sides of the issues described, and I wanted to share it, since controversial topics are a favorite of General Discussion. |

Born gay ?
I dare say everyone makes their decisions. Only those who fear being punished for their say that they were "born gay". The only thing I say that could influence is the raising, a bit. But it's the persons choice.
Also, what do you mean with Nature vs. Nuture ? |

There are some who believe that homosexuality is written into your genes and that you have no choice in your sexual orientation. Others say that it's your upbringing that influences what gender you'll be attracted to. |
