I'm not sure... Windows Movie Maker is WAY too frustrating for me, as well. Not letting me save as a project file for seemingly no reason, for one thing... |

I find windows movie maker extremly easy, in my opinion.
Try Roxio's Video Wave.
Its not free, as far as I know, though. |

iMovie. but you need a MAC.
I use Windows Movie Maker, but it sucks. its for cheapass beginners.
