Hey, Nerrs! YoshiAngemon here, telling you about the recently aired Cartoon Network Original Live Action Movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time!

The Story, for the record: In his hometown of Bellwood, Ben is just Ben, an ordinary ten year old boy. But when an alien from the Plumbers' Past, Eon of Kronia, comes to begin an invasion with the Hands of Armageddon, it's up to Ben, Gwen, Grandpa Max, and the surviving Plumbers to save the world, and prevent Ben's Omnitrix from falling into the wrong hands! For those of you who have seen it, discuss it! But those who haven't seen it, catch the repeat on Friday, on Fried Dynamite, on Cartoon Network!

Yeah, I saw it. They should have used the cartoon's alien's voices instead of their own. It's pretty good for a spin-off movie. Also, I picked Diamondhead for awesome.

Well, at least Grey Matter almost sounded like Slippy Toad (SF Assault), and Diamondhead sounded kinda like Optimus Prime.

I was kind of annoyed how the movie versions of Gwen (that is her name, right?) and the old guy look nothing like the cartoon versions.
But I didn't actually watch the movie, and I've never watched the show, so whatever.

Yes, Grimlock. Gwen IS her name, and the old guy is Grandpa Max, portrayed by Lee Majors. And Max with facial hair would make sense, because, it would show that time had past since his clean-shaven summer days, and he decided to go with the growth. And I'm surprised that Ben's Lucky Shirt isn't made a special clothing item to be bought for fans of the show.

What else did you expect, when the movie was almost built on special effects? I actually liked it.

I wanted to throw up...the plot was completely average, the acting was obviously fake at some points, and I was totally bored by it. The only worse thing I could think of it that awful Reanimated movie and Out of Jimmy's Head. Plus, the Eon what's-his-face I could hardly here, the plot seemed ripped-off from Superman or even an old episode of Disney's Tarzan. Finally, the movie exhibited no real qualities of what the series was originally potrayed as: a ten-year old making ten-year old mistakes with unlimited power. He matured too much, was too intelligent, and the movie suffered. Characters clashed, plots were imperfect, and Grandpa Max was the only good actor in the entire thing.

It wasn't TOO horrible.

But, I agree with Mr. I on many points.

Although, come on, you have to admit it was WAY better than that live action Mario movie. ._.

Reanimated was actually part of the reason I chose not to watch it. I never want to touch another Cartoon Network movie after that.
The upcoming Samurai Jack movie is an exception, but that's being done by Frederator Films, so I'm not sure it counts.

'Tis true, Mona. Unlike that god-forsaken Mario movie, this one kinda captured the spirit of the Ben 10 show.

Point and case, the main lead of Mario didn't know the movie was based on a video game until his son showed him.

Look his name up on Mariowiki. He has some strong comments on the Super Mario Bros movie. I forget his name, though. Look it up on wikipedia. (I sound like a n00b)

It's not completely horrible, but I honestly didn't like it. The talent show made me cry in how patheticly it was pulled off.
