It was just...creepy.
Toad, Goombas, even Bowser: ALL HUMAN.
Then Yoshi looked NOTHING like Yoshi.
Plus, it was just...NO. Yeah. Just NO. |

I remember watching this when it first came out. I remember having nightmares about that big ball of fungus and freasy-arse Yoshi... of course, I was 6 or 7 then. |

It didn't prove that the idea of a Mario movie fails.
It only proved that the idea of attempting to place Mario in a darker, more Sci-Fi-ish world for a movie fails. |

No, you're thinking about that other Mario movie, we're talking about that bad
live-action Mario movie, I hated it so much. It's like trying to make Mario a bad name, but the movie failed it's mission for life. |

Well, in the end, after the credits, two guys from Japan arrive to go for the idea of a video game based on Iggy and Spike's adventures. It must've been Miyamoto and the President of Nintendo, who obviously decide to do that very idea, but for the Super Mario Bros. |

I've seen the movie too.
It was horrible, mainly because it wasn't based on Mario at all. Go to the Mario Wiki, and search for Bob Hoskins ( he played Mario ). He has some things to say about the movie. |
