A friend of mine blogged about his friend's death in a hunting accident, where the guy was accidentally shot by another hunter. He linked to the news article, but on the page right above the article text was a very unfortunate advertisement.

This is why ads need to be careful what they do on news sites. They search for key terms,not caring what the article is about. It could really hurt someone and someone who wants money could probably sue them.

Wow, that's an awful coincidence. D: Though I guess it could be like Goomba said, the ads get displayed on pages that have certain keywords, so it's just a matter of bad advertisement programming.

Really, the ads just appear because the site has a word associated to what it's about. They really do need to regulate it a bit more, though... |

Actually, it is their own ad, but it is a random pick from about 5 different ads. I just got lucky I guess. |

One Time Ph1r3 Mario was missing. (Yes I know him in real life) And he went out looking for his dog Chubs. His big sister called me and said he was missing. But they found him at Walmart. I was so freaking worried. I'm glad Ph1r3 is still alive. |
