This is ALL I hear at school. I can understand homophobia to a partial extent, but I don't see how a word synonimous with homosexuality is supposed to be an insult or a general degrading term.

Indeed. People need to expand their insult vocabulary ten-fold, and realize that "gh3y" isn't a negative term. That, and they need to realize that if paper was capable of having sexual intercourse, we'd all have paper-cuts in strange places.
I sometimes feel bad that I have to age in such a horrible generation. :< |

It is a lack of originality. There are much better insults to use, and there isn't anything wrong with being homosexual (Or happy, because of the word's double-meaning.) One can expect the use of the word in that context to die down as society views homosexuality with less negative feelings; this progression has already started, and is continuing.
Although, I do know a few homosexuals that, for some strange reason, use the term in that way... |

I think it's basically an invisible bond that keeps black people together, and to some, ni**a just their term of endearment. But then, when someone of another race (especially white) says it, it is quickly interpreted as racism. |

You kidding?! This is the best generation to be in, provided that you can stand the people at school.
The stage is all set for me to invent crazy things. You know why? I want to do nanotechnological and biochemistric experiments that would totally revolutionize anything that ever exists. If only I could channel all of my thoughts throughout the day to this topic. I'm thinking about what I'll invent when I get out of college all the time. I think about it at least once every hour of the day. When I have free stare-off-into-space-time that is what I'm thinking about mostly. Oi, now I'm excited. I always get excited when I hear or read about certain types of technology. I was excited yesterday to get to start learning about DNA. Now I'm trembling with excitement. Damn you all. |

Seriously, my sister uses the word retarded in her "everysentance" vocabulary. I don't think there is a single person or object that she has called retarded. I hate her lack of any grammar + insult generator.
