Good news, everybody. Tomorrow is December, and it looks like Christmas is just around the corner. But is it really appropriate to be saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas," just to avoid an inter-religious incident? Maybe the best thing to say is "Merry Tetmashannukwanzaadan," or maybe "Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwazy Kwanzaa, a Tip-top Tet, and a solemn, dignified Ramadan."
My dad's a real Christmas fan. Every year, my family would check out holiday lights in the night time, and usually around the beginning of December, I get my Holiday Shopping done early.
I hear talk of holiday shoplifting, and killings that would really get you screwed into the afterlife! I mean, not only is Christmas getting too commercial, it's also getting too dangerous! Good grief... |

Between my mom's knee replacement, my dad retiring, both of my older siblings being in college, and me still being too young to get a job, we don't have a lot of money for Christmas presents this year. But there's not anything I'm really dying to have this year, so I'm ok with that. |

Christmas is less of a holiday and more of a way for people to make and lose money quickly.
But I'm not complaining. I'm the one who usually gets this money. |

Well, at least this year would be better than last year, for me. I'll have a bit more money than I did, last December. Of course, the only thing that one would have to get for the man who has everything is simple: Cash. |

I probably wouldn't get anything good for Christmas. But I get out of school for a while so yay. |

Christmas has lost all meaning. When non-Christians celebrate a Christian holiday, you might as well call it Present Day.
And I will have a Merry Present Day. |

I kinda like the way my family does the religious part of Christmas even though I'm Agnostic these days. I love our Nativity scene that we put up in the front lawn. |
