Ok, I've just recently found out that I can put games on my calculator but I can't figure out HOW to get them into my calculator. Can someone lend a brother some help? |

I only have an old TI-83... but you either had to type in the code yourself (for BASIC games)... or you need use a special cable to connect it to your computer. I think you also might be able to link directly to another calc and transfer stuff between the two. |

BASIC is a type of program. You use TI Connect to open the BASIC program (the game) and look at the code. Then you would type in all the code by hand into a new program on your calculator. If you dont know how to create a simple program on your calc, then you probably dont know what I'm talking about.
Or you can just get the usb cable and just send the game to your calc. Typing in an entire game by hand onto your calc is not fun, and if you make one mistake, it wont work But, you might learn some programming skills Thats how I got my start... |
