I've been thinking about this here of late.
Persay you had an item that inflicted water, fire, wind, or earth, damage and/or an item that could equipped to defend agianst this.
For example: Some one were to equip a Water sheild and fire item that does 20 damage. The sheild would cut the attack in half.
As so, if an equipped item that has properties that trump the attacking element, it wold cut the damage in half. Likewise, If an equipped item has properties that are trumped by the attack element, 3/4 of the damage would be dealt (you're still defending)
What do you think about that? |

Wow, a great idea! Elements have always played a role in almost every game, and the Paper Mario series is no exception. Agreed, this is one of the best ideas I've seen in a while. |
