When we can no longer say the word CHRISTMAS because it might offend somebody.

I'm already against protecting the children from the real world... if you don't learn fast, life will hit you like a train. I'm not saying to sit down and watch porn with your five year old, that's just too much, but don't tell them blatant lies, and that cussing will send you to hell or whatever B.S. you have to tell them.

And then people getting offended. What the HELL!? I'm content with being unable to say "THE F WORD" in many places... that's all good. But when we go as far as to exclude names of holidays, religions, and countries from being said out loud... we have such problems.

A woman got in trouble for naming a bear Mohommad. Now of course, this wasn't in AMERICA, but it's the same concept.

People are offended too damn easily. Everything can offend somebody in some way... so why make a law against saying certain things? It's so damn redundant.

And the one-way racism. It can be held against you in COURT if you call somebody "THE N WORD"... but if a black guy calls me a "CRACKER", I can't do anything about it. It used to be that the country was run by white christian males... this doesn't mean that everyone has to get their payback now, and turn EVERYTHING on white people, especially people like me who aren't even RACIST.

In fact I find that white people are the LEAST racist. It's everybody ELSE that's RACIST. Black people disrespect white people, claiming that the white people are racist, far more often than the other way around.

Bah, I can't continue talking about this without offending somebody. And if I already have offended somebody... shut the HELL up, dumbass, I don't want your whining in my topic.

The school district in my area changed Christmas Break into Holiday Break, and there's this little thing the elementary schools have called "Santa's Secret Shop", except now it's called "Holiday Workshop". COME ON. SANTA ISN'T REALLY SIGNIFYING CHRISTMAS. HE SIGNIFIES JOY TO THE WORLD AND ALL THAT STUFF.

Yeah, I know, people get way too offended by the simplest things. I can understand people feeling threatened if someone just runs around saying the f word to everyone, but somebody mentioning Christmas or Santa or whatever is just too far. You can't just cover up something that's real and not tell anyone about it because somebody might be offended. People need to be educated about the world and what's in it, because we don't want to have big problems and not know what to do about it in the future.

This is seen everywhere. On the news a few weeks ago, somebody got offended by Santa's laugh. Ho ho ho isn't offensive. If that is the first thing your mind went to and it got stuck there, there may be other problems. We are a very sensitive generation.

I agree with you rawrskey, but you're right, people are too damn offended these days. There's this one guy at my school who HATES me just because I crack ONE joke off of him.
