Today my mom and I decide that we would head out to the next town over, and see my grandmother. My mom rushed me to get ready, and said that I didn't have time to take a shower. After much struggle I finally got my way, and fourty-five minutes later we were out the door.
The trip went along fine, until we met up with a wood mill right outside the town I live in. There, there seemed to be a massive pack of cars mobbed in front of us. I figured it would be over just around the bend... 2 hours and two mountain bends later, we met up with the preditory car crash. 3 vehicles all smushed, sprawled out on the center of the highway. And to think, if I hadn't taken that shower, we could have been in that crash, or witnessed it.
So we get out of that mess, and continue our way along, and safely reach my grandma's house for some dinnar.
Finally when we were about done at my there, we decided to pack up, and get ready to go. We were out the door in a matter of minutes and flying down the hill, almost forgetting the earlier incident. Then it dawned on me; I forgot my binder, and back up the hill we went.
About half-an-hour later we were back in the position. There was only 30 minutes left of this trip ride, and me forgetting my stuff literally put the crash off of our minds.
We were about 3/4ths the way home when we met with an intersection. There were lights swarming in front of us, and we are quickly directed to a detour on the neighbouring entrance. And that is when we saw it, two more mangled cars sent to the dump, due to careless driving. And to think, if I didn't forget my binder, we could have been in it, or witnessed the accident for ourselves.
Finally we reach the ending of our story; the last intersection I'd have to see for today. We pull into the turning lane, and in the middle of the road there it stood, a bumper. I mean seriously, what the hell is wrong with people these days?
Three accidents in one day? I mean c'mon.
And the fact that I could of been in at least two, irritates me to hell. |
