There are two ways to get Darkrai and Arceus:
1. Go to the Nintendo events.
2. Hack them.
That's it. There's no other solution aside from trading for them, which I've done.
Off-topic: Am I the ONLY one here with Diamond version? Geez... |

What about the mystery gift members card. You need that to get Darkrai. But where do you get it?
P.S. For Arceus go to the third floor of Jubilife TV and talk to the man standing by the lady answer his interveiws in the following order-everyone happy, wifi connection. Go to any pokemart and talk to the guy with the green suit to recieve the Azure Flute. Go to the top of the spear pillar there the flute will start to glow ,blow into the flute and walk up the new stair case. at the top walk across the hall and you'll meet Arceus at level 80.  |

there are actual in game events on getting them. for arceus you to go to a certain place and use azure flute. then this starcase appears that leasds to arceus. for darkrai you have to go to sleep in a certain place and you'll fight it in your dream. I know they're in the english version in some form or another, because my friend showed me the darkrai event. but he may have hacked to access the event. |

He did. Darkrai shouldn't be obtainable until the Pokemon Movie about him is released sometime in the next two months.
It's supposed to be a mystery-gift thing on a certian day(and the day Mystery-gift activates, too) |

There is something special you need to do to get the members card to sleep in the hotel at Canalave City. There you'll go to new moon Island. and Battle Darkrai. But where do you get the members card?!?!?!?!? |

it's still there. which means there has to be some way of accessing it. maybe it was just japan exclusive. the same thing happened with celebi in gold/silver/crystal. |

Again, at a Nintendo event when the new movie releases. Mystery Gift doesn't even function until then. |
