Daisy hadn't gotten more than five steps into the hall when she heard a horrible scream from back in the engineer's room.
She whirled around and yanked the door open, only to be confronted with-
Peach sat up with a yawn. She'd gone back to her room and had fallen asleep after she'd eaten.
Huh...Looks like she'd slept longer than she thought. It was pitch-black outside, save for the faint yellow glow of the numerous eyes pressed against the window-

I saw the look on Peach's face. She was struck with terror, something was outside. I took a look myself and saw glowing, yellow, EYES. I jumped back, startled, and prepared for the worst. "Princess! Get away from the window!" I grasped her by the arm and pulled her away from the window. I hope Daisy and General Guy were alright... |

She gasped, realizing- she hadn't seen another soul besides she and ROB on the train since the Smorgs had appeared. "The passengers! Everybody- they're gone! ...Oh, my- DAISY!" |

I understood the situation. I quickly calculated our chance of survival, and saw the numbers were not in our favor, but hey, life's a game of chance, isn't it? "Alright then, we should all regroup, but I think that General Guy's chances are slim..." I turned and started to run, as the Smorgs were emptying themselves into our room, Daisy had better not have been killed by these chumps, or I'd kill her.
(Genral Guy, Come on! POST. This is your last chance, otherwise you character will have to disapear or something, if you do not respond I'll have to come up with some excuse for his death/disapearance/etc, no offense...) |

Daisy, as it turned out, had NOT been smothered to death...at least, not yet...
The Smorgs had taken her by surprise, although it hadn't stopped her from squelching a fair number of the fuzzy little things before they overwhelmed her. Tiny as they were, a couple hundred of them were serious trouble, even for Daisy.
A thick tentacle comprised of Smorgs had burst through the window (she could see them dragging off the engineer and his apprentice through the massive break in the glass, as well) and wrapped around her, constricting her from her ankles to her throat. With her arms pinned to her sides and her legs bound, the most she could do was struggle and thrash as she was dragged out and up, onto the roof of the train... |

We had to move fast. I knew that even Daisy wouldn't last forever against such a foe. I grabbed Peach by the arm, urging her to hurry. "We have to move! Daisy needs us!" I took off with Peach towards the Engineer's car. |

They hadn't even reached the engineer's car, however, when there was a scream.
It wasn't Daisy, as each first feared; the Smorgs were attempting to drag a young Toad girl out of the window. She was holding on to the frame, but the fact that she was being dragged against shattered glass wasn't helping her grip much.
She gasped, pulling her arm away from ROB, and proceeded to grab the Toad girl's arms, trying to help her back inside. "Let her GO!" |

As we ran, I felt Peach's grip leave my hand. I turned an expected the worst, but saw Peach was alright. But, the girl she was trying to help was not so lucky... Leave it to Peach to have a keen sense of justice... But of course, we couldn't leave her there... Daisy would have to wait, this girl needed our help, I went over to Peach and aided her in her efforts. |
